Students undertook a field documentation of a historic Jain Derasar in Derol village, guided by LVJST. This initiative combined architectural learning with cultural immersion, allowing students to closely study the spiritual, structural, and ornamental aspects of Jain temple design. The project emphasized the role of heritage conservation and trained students in measured drawing, material analysis, and contextual understanding of religious architecture.
Odyssey was a transformative walking studio where students traversed over 100 kilometers across five villages of Gujarat. Conducted in partnership with Ethos Arcause, the initiative encouraged students to document local crafts, architecture, and community practices through slow travel. It promoted empathy, place-based learning, and reflective observation — nurturing a socially responsive design sensibility.
Construction Labour Day was celebrated on campus to recognize and appreciate the contributions of the labour community. Organized jointly with Ethos Arcause, the event featured student-led cultural programs, games, and shared meals. It created a space for connection, dialogue, and gratitude, reinforcing the values of equity and dignity in the built environment professions.
